COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course forms part of the mandatory basic safety training for all seafarers assigned safety or pollution prevention duties.

Its objective is to give basic introduction training in safety procedures and accident prevention and to familiarize personnel with the employment conditions and working environment on board merchant vessels.
