Course Duration 60 hours

The candidate must:

·         be 18 years of age

·         Have steering certificate.

·         Have general purpose seaman certificate.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

A practical course that is aimed at increasing basic seamanship skills including knots, splicing, racking and seizing, stoppers, pilot ladders and extinguishers.

Successful completion of EDH training forms part of the requirement for the issue of an AB`s certificate, or for a deck officer's certificate of competency
